West Side Career & Technology Center 2010 Commencement Exercise

West Side Career & Technology Center graduation will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 6:00 PM. We will have 87 graduates. The ceremony will be held in our school gymnasium at: 75 Evans St., (Pringle), Kingston, Pa.

Our graduation speaker is Donna VanFossen Diltz. She is a 1984 graduate of West Side CTC ,(formerly known as West Side Tech), She was educated in the Data Processing and Accounting Field. This education and the Cooperative Work Program led her to employment with the United Way of Wyoming Valley and Kay Wholesale Drug Company until she later furthered her education at King's College.

Donna is a 1998 Summa Cum Laude graduate of King's College with a BA of Science Degree in Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. She graduated at the top of her class and was the recipient of the 1998 Wall Street Journal Award for Achievement in Marketing.

Upon graduation from college, Donna was employed as the Community Development Director for the March of Dimes. She later served as the Special Events Director for the Arthritis Foundation.

Donna is a Graduate of the Leadership Wilkes-Barre Class of 2009 and a 2010 Leadership Wilkes-Barre Project Advisor. She is currently employed as the Community Liaison by John Heinz Rehabilitation, responsible for the rehabilitation hospital's marketing, advertising, and community relations.

Donna resides in Huntington Mills with her husband, Bob, and their son Caleb, age 9.
